Who We Are

The Northern Native Art Gallery is based in Whitehorse, Yukon, in the heart of Canada's great North.  This central location allows us to work side by side with both local northern artists and those artists who travel the North according to the season.

 

All artwork in our gallery is entirely hand made.

  Our Uniqueness

Our online gallery is distinct in the world of art galleries in two major ways:

 

1) Every piece of artwork is priced by the artists themselves.

The artists know the time and monetary investments required to produce their final artwork like none other, and so are best able to set a price that does justice to their work while remaining affordable to the general public, which they know is necessary to ensure continued interest in their artwork.

 

2) The great majority of the sale price goes directly to the artist.

Every item purchased directly and significantly impacts the lives of the artists themselves, improving their quality of life and enabling them to devote more time to their artwork and thereby their traditional way of life.
